Tools, materials and a stoneware oxidisation firing are included. Fired works will be available for collection within 6 weeks of the completion of the workshop.
Phaedra Davy is a ceramicist and educator living and working in the Northern Rivers. She teaches a range of ceramics disciplines and techniques, both privately as well as for the Diploma of Ceramics at Lismore and Murwillimbah TAFE, and at the Cape Byron Steiner School. A warm, vibrant facilitator, with a background in theatrical circus and product design, Phaedra now dedicates her life to the pursuit of making and teaching ceramics full time.
“I have been exploring a broad range ceramic processes and techniques in my own practice for many years. I threw my first bowl on the wheel 23 years ago and fell in love with clay. I enjoy all the ceramic disciplines, slip casting for its brain teasing challenges, hand building for its boundless possibilities and the potter’s wheel that brings me home to my centre.”
