Unleash your creativity to find the everyday superheroes in all of us!
Led by neurodivergent artist Sarah Lewis (Lewis), this workshop offers a playful exploration of costume design and character development, celebrating the everyday hero within.
Participants will have the chance to create their own superhero persona and design custom costumes that bring their vision to life. All materials are provided, and the workshop fosters an environment rich in creativity, collaboration, and fun.
Expect to craft signature pieces like a headpiece, belt, or accessory that showcases your unique superpower. This inclusive workshop is open to everyone—plus, special guest Supers from the Suburban Superheroes exhibition may even drop in to lend a hand!

About the Facilitator:
Sarah Lewis (Lewis) is a Queensland-based interdisciplinary artist whose expansive practice spans installations, performance, music, digital media, costume creation, and community programs. Their work is characterised by a fusion of diverse artistic disciplines, crafting immersive experiences that invite community participation and expand punk expressions and cosmic futurism as forms of joyful resistance.
