NRCG has curated an annual program of artworks to be installed as part of the Lennox Head Public Art Boxes, establishing opportunities for local and emerging artists to exhibit their wok in a vibrant and visible exhibition space in the heart of Lennox Head.

From October 2023 through until January 2024, artist Dave Sparkes will be exhibiting a series of watercolours featuring local landscapes and capturing the play of light and shadow in each painting.
Dave has been a full time watercolourist since 2017 and held several solo exhibtions in the Northern Rivers region, most recently at Tweed Regional Gallery, Grafton Regional Gallery, Lone Goat Gallery, M-Arts Precinct and NRCG. He has been the finalist in numerous art prizes and winner of the OSART Expo Watercolour Prize in 2022. He has work in the Ballina Shire Council Corporate Art Collection.
