Join Jugan Dandii’s Aunty Tania Marlowe and Debra Cole for a relaxing weekend of yarning and weaving with common vines from local gardens, to make functional baskets in a range of styles and sculptural objects. Suitable for beginners, or more experienced weavers and craftspeople, this workshop will embed cross-cultural perspectives and sustainability practices with knowledge from a range of weaving cultures.

Jugan Dandii is a local weaving collective comprising Bundjalung Nyangbal woman Tania Marlowe, and Debra Cole. They were recognised for their contribution to arts and culture in the Ballina Shire Region with an Australia Day Award in January 2023.
