Join artist Jenny Schirmer in this mixed media workshop, inviting you to play with found objects, timber offcuts, paint, and clay. Simple construction and hand-building techniques will be used to create sculptures that gently reflect on personal and comunity experiences of the 2022 floods.

Please bring a selection of small found objects for incorporating into your work. Participants will also need to bring their own apron, and wear clothes that can get messy. All tools and materials are provided. Bookings are essential and places are limited.

On completion of the workshop, all works will be kept at NRCG for the Creative Flood Recovery Project Exhibition at Ignite Studios, from 29 June to 9 July 2023. They can be collected from the gallery week beginning 10 July 2023.
