Together Arts & Community Wellbeing Day

On Saturday 11 May the Northern Rivers Community Gallery (NRCG) is teaming up with artist and educator Claudie Frock and the Ballina Shire Council Community Recovery Team to deliver TOGETHER Arts & Community Wellbeing - a free, fun-filled arts and cultural event in the heart of Ballina.

Time: 10.00am - 1.00pm 
Where: NRCG & Ignite Studios - cnr Cherry and Crane Streets, Ballina
Age: All welcome
Cost: Free to attend and no registrations required. Tools and materials provided.
BYO snacks or enjoy the Gallery Café next door. 

A free half-day of culture, creativity and connection at NRCG & Ignite Studios. Get inventive with Roundabout Theatre’s Pop Up Play Space and the Lollipop Ladies; try your hand at some peaceful weaving with natural fibres with Aunty Tania Marlowe and Deb Cole from Jugan Dandii; get creative with Claudie Frock’s Let’s Stick Together Collage experience; dive into a Virtual Reality Art Workshop or explore digital storytelling with Social Futures’ Computer Clubhouse; or join in a DANCE THE ART: Inclusive Gallery Movement Tour with interdisciplinary performance artist Katie Cooper-Wares.

This is a free day for the community to experience a range of playful and creative activities.
