The Ballina Contemporary Art Market (BCAM) was an arts and cultural initiative developed by the Northern Rivers Community Gallery (NRCG) and Ballina Shire Council (BSC) funded by NSW Government to deliver a one-day art market event, activating the NRCG and Ignite Studios arts precinct. The project was initiated by NRCG to provide creatives across the Northern Rivers region with an opportunity to sell and promote their work, engage the local community and businesses and showcase the vibrant creative talent of our region.
This free event was held on Saturday 14 October from 10am-7pm at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery (NRCG) & Ignite Studios creative precinct with over 50 arts and crafts stalls selling a range of artworks and products by local and regional artists, live music, food vendors, and roving performers.

The results of this survey will help us assess the economic, cultural and community value of the Ballina Contemporary Art Market (BCAM) and help determine whether the event should be held again in future.

Winners will be drawn and notified by the end of January 2024, and will have the opportunity to select one workshop from our 2024 public program to attend for free (some limitations apply).
