Anna Nordstrom |  Seven Years in Solitude

Anna uses discarded domestic building material in the form of historical linoleum and pressed metal exploring the notion of ‘homecoming’ – referring to our emotional and spiritual home as well as our place in the landscape. Pieces of worn linoleum, marked by time and imbued with memories, have been arranged and nailed onto board to create a new picture, a new perspective – a new sense of ‘home’.

A deeply personal body of work culminating in seven years of the artist re-discovering self alone in her studio.
